There will be perl code running somewhere long after all of us reading this are dead and gone. Probably not *my* perl code, but ya never know. Probably COBOL too. Scala is interesting, and will likely live on. Objective-C, will probably fade into obscurity, unless someone outside Apple keeps it alive. VB, who cares, though it will probably live on out of spite. I barely know what CoffeeScript is.
However, forget all those, there will probably be lisp code (or some derivation thereof) still running somewhere even as the universe reaches heat death.
