  If you look on the opening frame of the clip on top of the FA, you'll see on the bottom of the label "Contains 22.4% NaClO2". Yes, not your laundry bleach, just a more potent oxidizing agent in higher concentration.

  Yes, sodium chlorite, which they react with acid (that they sell as an "activator") to make.... chlorine dioxide. NaClO2 + HOCl + HCl -> 2ClO2 + H2O
