Apple Issued Warrant by FBI to Provide Access to iCloud Account for Sen. Richard Burr for Stock Sales Investigation

FBI recently obtained iCloud data access from Apple for Senator Richard Burr, as part of an on-going investigation regarding stock sales.

Richard Burr is under investigation for selling his stock portfolio while he was receiving updates from government health officials regarding coronavirus pandemic. The timing of his stock sales preceded the sharp decline in the stock market, just a week later. He had heavily invested in businesses that suffered the most due to the pandemic.

[...] Burr sold between $628,000 and $1.72 million worth of stocks. He was not the only senator to do so, as a few others are also under investigation. His brother in law also sold his shares worth between $97,000 and $280,000, on the same day as Burr's sell-off.

It is against the law for lawmakers to make trading decisions based on classified intelligence briefings that they receive due to their position in the government.

I'm talking about how no parties other than your two parties hold any power. And how that has always been the case.

What you have might look like choice, but it's not really.

What you have might look like choice, but it's not really.

You completely fail to explain why. The choice is on the ballot. If enough people vote for an alternative, it will win. Do you have some mathematical theory that proves otherwise? Are you saying the vote will not be counted? I mean, sure, that's perfectly plausible. So we should demand transparent oversight with paper ballots, but that's another thread.

We are the system. The system works

I have no idea why. Where I live, we regularly vote for lots of different parties, and kill the ones we don't like.

If you could get third or fourth [parties into power, wouldn't you have done it. At least once?

I cannot answer why other people vote the way they do. It is their business, they have to deal with it. But they, and maybe you do have to understand that the voters give the power structure its form. The voters choose the winners. Whether they are directed or not doesn't matter. They choose to follow. To claim they have no choice is nothing but an evasion of responsibility.

You just couldn't be more wrong. You still haven't explained why. The choices are there. There is no compelling force to keep people from using them. You're still not making sense.

Two hundred years of elections in your country, and never more than two parties.

No, I don't reject your link. It actually proves my point. The power comes from the people. They can choose to lead or follow. Most choose to follow. It really is much easier. That's it in a nutshell.

You don't have to take my word for it. The evidence speaks for itself. What you see is the peoples choice. A full 95% of the people that bother to say anything at all where it counts choose to stay in their two party box despite what is right there on the ballot. It can hardly be more obvious. Their prison is self made and only they can step out. A psychologist can explain it better to you.

Exactly what did I say that is not true? You still have not spelled it out.

I'll say it again for you. There are more than two choices on the ballot. This is an irrefutable truth. 95% of the voters make the personal choice to stick with the majors. Tell us what is not true about that, please. Tell us what outside force compels them. From where do you derive this "lack of choice"? How do you absolve the voters for the free choices they make? And for their lack of initiative when they don't like the choices the rest of the population provides in the preliminaries? The voters are the "Ruling Class"™, and they alone can be held accountable for their choices. The "system" only reflects and projects.
