    This is one of the most important events in the US space industry in decades, but unless somebody already knows what's happening, this article isn't going to inform them. To be clear, SpaceX is launching two humans, for the first time ever, and sending them to the ISS. And in general no human has been sent to space from America on American tech in just under a decade. The last time was in 2011 on the final flight of the Space Shuttle. So this is going to be one of the most important milestones SpaceX will ever have to cross, and it's also a crucial milestone for American space technology in general.

      Yip. I may have jumped the gun. Was scrolling downward and so saw the articles in reverse chronological order. Still quite peculiar to start a new thread instead of just amending the other one with the timeline.
