Outdoor apparel brand The North Face has become the best-known company yet to commit to an advertising boycott of Facebook in light of the social media platform's handling of misinformation and hate speech — a move that could open the door for other brands to do the same.
The brand's decision responds to a pressure campaign by top civil rights groups, including the NAACP and the Anti-Defamation League, known as #StopHateForProfit, which on Wednesday began calling for advertisers to suspend their marketing on Facebook in the month of July.
"We're in," The North Face tweeted. "We're out @Facebook #StopHateForProfit."
Hours later, outdoor equipment retailer REI said it will join the boycott.

The so-called racism on Facebook is people asking questions and making statements that the lunatic left doesn't want.
It is sensible people wanting the police to do their jobs and arrest the looters, arrest SPAZ or whatever his name is that took over the downtown of that city then calling for help form the outside when they run out of food or someone gets shot, for calling out BLM for being hypocrites (a dozen blacks are killed by black every day in Chicago ALONE and BLM is completely silent on that-why does BLM support black killing blacks?), calling out most of the protesters for being hypocrites for protesting over the death of one black man while dozens of black men are killed every day by OTHER BLACK MEN, for blaming white people today for what happened over 150 years ago, for pointing out that every other ethnicity in the US has gotten their shit together and don't murder each other by the dozens every day except for blacks and asking WHY (culture!), pointing out that much of the looting was done to black owned businesses, pointing out that a dozen or more black people have been murdered defending their businesses from looting but the left MSM media and BLM ain't said a peep about them, and pointing out that Trump did not say the protestor should be shot, but the looters should.
What BLM, the NAACP and the Anti-Defamation League want isn't the end of racism, it is the silencing of any questions that point out that the plight of the black people TODAY is caused by black people themselves and not the big bad white people.

Your entire post is bad faith rubbish, but I want to focus on this specific piece of bad faith rubbish.
Why is it that 73% of the US population is white, yet 82% of white murders are committed by other white people? Why don't you talk about the white-on-white crime problem? By sheer number, 2,488 white people were murdered by other white people in 2014 whereas 2,205 black people were murdered by other black people in the same year. So your argument that only black people are murdered in high numbers by other people of the same race is outright false.
For black and white people living in poverty, the crime rate against black households is 51.3/1000 versus 56.4/1000 against white households [bjs.gov]. Crime rates are much higher for Americans in poverty versus those who are not. There's also a large amount of racial segregation present in urban areas [brookings.edu]. So, if you're an impoverished white person who is the victim of a crime, the perpetrator is probably another white person. If you're an impoverished black person who is the victim of a crime, the perpetrator is probably another black person. And the crime rates are very similar among impoverished white people and impoverished black people.
Of course, one in 13 white people live in extreme poverty versus one in four black people [usatoday.com]. There is also an increase in highly impoverished neighborhoods [tcf.org] which is due in part to zoning laws that prevent more affordable housing from being developed in wealthier suburbs. The second article discusses Ferguson, in particular.
I went to school for four years at the University of Missouri-St. Louis in the 2000s, about a mile south of where the riots took place. UMSL spans a few municipalities like Berkeley and Normandy, but it's still very similar to Ferguson. I never felt unsafe at UMSL and the area around campus was actually pretty nice. It was also very obvious that it was once quite an affluent area. On the other side Natural Bridge from campus, there are very large houses that are actually quite nice. The UMSL campus was a country club before it became a state university campus. Perhaps the question we should be asking is why poverty is being concentrated in areas like that.

You mention population percentages then assert that your stats are by 'sheer number', then go on to imply that those stats are somehow equivalent. If you assume the other 27% of the population is black, which it isn't, you get an adjusted crime rate of 2,488 / 0.73 = 3,408 for white people and 2,205 / .27 = 8,167 for black people. That's 2.4x the rate of white-on-white crime.
According to 2019 stats [wikipedia.org], the numbers are closer to 60.4% white and 13.4% black. That makes the numbers 4,119 and 16,455, respectively. That's even worse: almost exactly 4x the rate for white-on-white.
We've got a crime problem, but as you otherwise point out the cause is likely poverty, not race.
