Ex-porn star's fans help remove X-rated videos:

She is one of the most searched for star's on Pornhub, but Mia Khalifa's 11 X-rated films could soon disappear for good.

The former porn star has tried and failed to have her videos removed from Pornhub and BangBros, describing her three-month stint in 2014 as a decision that will "haunt her for the rest of her life".

But now her fans have stepped in, creating a Change.org petition that has already seen nearly 2 million signatures demanding the adult sites remove the content.

"Mia and her team have provided countless financial offers to the current owners of her domain name and pornographic videos to no avail," the Justice for Mia petition read.

"Big corporations are not giving Mia Khalifa a fair chance to demand her content in court due to financial advantage.

"We are demanding her domain names be returned, her videos be removed and fairly discussed in court without putting Mia Khalifa into deep financial ruin. Mia has stated her regret for her decisions in the porn industry multiple times."

It comes after the 27-year-old begged girls to not go into the industry, slamming it as "toxic".

She will never get full control of those videos.

Probably not. The only successful person I know to do it was Sylvester Stallone and that was a very different time period long before the internet.

That said, her situation is WAY out of line from "normal" because her situation is rather unique.

Unique? Depending on how you look at it... hardly. What about teenagers who do a video for a boyfriend and then have an entire class come down on them? There's a ton of stories like that and some of it is really brutal -- including death and rape threats. Teachers are fired because it's discovered they once did a porn movie. So much for having a normal life.

The saddest thing is our culture. Somehow, we collectively think that girls who star in porn are not worthy to be equal to everyone else. It should be just a job -- a job that some people like and some people don't. Hell, we worship celebrities and treat them as non-humans too. Mia should be able to walk away from it and not give it a second thought. I feel sorry for her.

This! A porn start is not a human thrash can, just because she was a pervert once, or even when she is horny. We all are, and only weird people are not horny.

I see it actually that maybe we as a culture need to grow to accept that these people gave a bit of themselves for us. I do not think she will be successful in removing the videos and i think she also got out what she bargained for: She is famous. It is very sad she cannot take it back, but somehow i see this as any accident: She needs to learn to live and accept it, if she regrets it. We all do something we regret. It is a pity there is not escape from our past lives and mistakes in our current day and age, but alas this is the current world.

just because she was a pervert once

She was somebody who decided to do a job to try to make some money, and that job may have involved acting like a pervert but that doesn't mean she herself would choose to do what she did on camera without monetary gain at stake. It's just like how most people who work at the Dairy Queen do it for the paycheck, not because of a psychological compulsion to serve ice cream.

She's right to caution people against trying to get into porn, though: The market is thoroughly saturated at this point so there isn't much money in it anymore. Thanks to Rule 34, there's pretty much no angle of human sexuality that hasn't been explored and filmed by somebody, including every weird fetish you can think of and a few you hadn't thought of, and that means that it's nigh-impossible for anyone to differentiate themselves in the marketplace. And not only are you competing with everybody else trying to do porn for money now, but you're also competing with everybody who has done porn since films were preserved, which means the porn stars of today are competing with 50 years worth of performers. That's a tough market to really succeed in. And then add to that having to deal with really skeezy people all the time, from fans to co-stars to producers and directors, and it's really really not worth it.

I hear you but "and only weird people are not horny" - this is rather bigoted against asexual people. Some folks just have low sexual drive. That's cool; some people hate or love pickles, dislike candy, etc. Who hates candy? Turns out, some folks. But asexual people face a surprisingly large amount of bigotry, unlike candy haters, FYI.

You say that like being a pervert is a BAD thing..
