With morgues brimming, Texas and Arizona turn to refrigerator trucks:
Officials in Texas and Arizona have requested refrigerated trucks to hold the dead as hospitals and morgues become overwhelmed by victims of the raging COVID-19 pandemic.
"In the hospital, there are only so many places to put bodies," Ken Davis, chief medical officer of Christus Santa Rosa Health System in the San Antonio area, said in a briefing this week. "We're out of space, and our funeral homes are out of space, and we need those beds. So, when someone dies, we need to quickly turn that bed over.
"It's a hard thing to talk about," Davis added. "People's loved ones are dying."

Right. The virus knows who it's infecting but I'm just a troll, too stupid to live. Other countries dealing with it for 4 months did such a great job in Europe and the virus is gone, never to return. Only America who did almost the exact same thing did poorly because reasons. Woo woo, wokus pokus. Seeing what's obvious is conspiracy theory, agree with the establishment or else. Critical thinking is treason to SciEnCe (tm).
Covid knew to take a break jan-march, almost 3 months because it knew politicians weren't ready to deal with it yet. It was a grand old time, when masks didn't work and it was cool to go hug people in chinatown. I should just learn my lesson, thank the WHO and say 3 hail faucis as penance for the virus I prepared for, but likely got start of Feb anyway. It was such a relief when almost 2 months later they decided to lock down; I still had a month of erratic heart rates after that but at this point I knew a 2 week quarantine was the KEY to preventing the spread. If we could just banish capitalism and tank the worldwide economy for long enough, everyone's problems would be over.
For someone who smokes a shit ton of weed It's really surprising when my memory is longer than huge swaths of the sober population.

No, the US did not the same thing. That's the whole point here.
First, it was acting like this is just a conspiracy, and like this could never endanger US soil. Then when they finally closed the airports to Chinese visitors, far too late anyway, some idiots had nothing better to do than call this racist and insist in opening them again. When finally your politicians noticed that the shit is hitting the fan (again, way after the ventilation system already spread the fecal matter for a while) they started to implement measures like the rest of the world already had in place, only to make some imbecilles go "muh fredumz" and refuse to do what's necessary to stop that virus from spreading, and to make matters worse, with support from leading politicians. And when there was finally, FINALLY, a small indication that it might start to improve, these idiots, again with the backing of the political leaders, threw all caution to the wind and started behaving like everything's back to normal, with the results we're now facing.
This is a classic case of the inmates running the asylum, and no, this isn't exclusive republican bashing. BOTH parties haven't been shy in any way to abuse this crisis for political gains with zero regards to the lives of the people that are entrusted to them. Cowards at the helm who do not dare to do what's necessary to protect the people because the "muh freedumz" cryers just MIGHT cost them the election. Fuck them. Fuck them and all of you.

because the asshats in the US Dept of State overruled the CDC and brought in the
747 loads of people some of which were known infections mixed with the asymtomatic
passengers?
