BBC:

US Attorney General William Barr has accused Hollywood and US tech firms of "collaborating" with the Chinese government to do business there.

Companies like Disney routinely agreed to censor films while Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and Apple were "all too willing" to work with Beijing, he said.

Such actions risked undermining the liberal world order, Mr Barr added.

His intervention is the latest criticism of China by White House and other US officials.

Tensions between the US and China have been rising over a host of issues. The US this week removed Hong Kong's preferential trade status, after China brought in a controversial new security law for the territory.

Does working with China mean freedoms are undermined elsewhere?

"Except the people you're calling leftists are actually center-right."
I can't tell you how many times I've heard centrists defend themselves against accusations of alt-right-ism for holding opinions like children under the age of 18 shouldn't be given hormone disrupting drugs for transition therapy. We're not even talking past each other, you're just flinging shit. It doesn't matter if Trump has no problems with the concentration camps because the fact is that he is not making them here, and could not make them here if he wanted to, because of the outrage and violent protest it would cause, because people here have the right to defend themselves. You are so busy hating Trump that you aren't stopping to realize that the enemy of your enemy can *also* be your enemy. Trump is causing runs on the banks in China because of his new enormously powerful sanctions against them. Their economy is hurting worse than ours is - and which is it? Is he controlled by Russia, or by China? Or is he only concerned for himself? Seriously. Stop and think.
