President-for-life Xi Jinping Facing Massive Pushback From the CCP, Insider Claims

A former professor at China’s elite Central Party School has issued an unprecedented rebuke of the Chinese leader, Xi Jinping, accusing him of “killing a country” and claiming that many more want out of the ruling Chinese Communist party.

Cai Xia, a prominent professor who taught at the school, a higher education institution for top officials, was expelled from the party on Monday after an audio recording of remarks she made that were critical of Xi was leaked online in June. She is no longer in China. The school said in a notice that Cai, a professor at the party school since 1992, had made comments that “damaged the country’s reputation” and were full of “serious political problems”.

In her first interview[*] with English-language media since her expulsion, Cai told the Guardian she was “happy to be expelled”.

OK we all know the guy gets upset with that Winne the Pooh stuff but where's the actual evidence that he's killing the country? Not doing as good a job as possible isn't the same as killing the country.

So far the biggest damage to China seems more due to the efforts of the USA than Xi Jinping.

Yeah there are a lot of human rights violations to the Uighurs, but give the Muslims enough power and autonomy and they'll merrily do the same human rights violations to everyone else. Just look at how minorities are treated in countries with a huge Muslim majority. So it's like watching the playground bully beat up someone whose long term goal is to be the next bully.

"First they came for the Muslims" well that stops the Muslims from coming for the rest of us doesn't it?

Uighurs != the Muslims. And maybe it's not a good idea to give anyone enough power and autonomy that they can human rights violate anyone else without consequence?

Maybe that's what the Chinese Gov is doing with the Uighurs? ;)

That's my take on the matter. The Chinese government is doing the very thing that a previous AC was concerned about "the Muslims" doing. It's foolish to be concerned about evil acts only when an unpopular ethnic group does them.
