If both parties are equally drunk, and the female later regrets the sex, the male is still blamed legally. Where are the feminazis standing up against that?

The penis has a head, no? And heads contain brains, no? So if the penis commits a crime, then the penis is responsible, because it has a brain.

Colleges do not care about protecting women. They care about money.
Most of that money comes from parents and those parents want their poor defenseless children to be protected from too much alcohol, drugs, and sex. If the parents perceive a school as unsafe then they will not want their precious children to attend and if they do then they will raise hell with any administrator they can find until something is done about it.
If you think college administrators will be champions of feminism then you will be disappointed.

You are right, its all about the money. College administrators are champions of feminism by default. Currently it is more profitable to simply capitulate to all of their insane demands. If they take a stand, they get protests and labeled as misogynist.

The problem is people seem to think the only solution is a complete reversal, to go back to the victorian era of repressing everything.

Maybe people will come to realize the solution is in the middle somewhere.

And that's exactly how feminist should be. Following GamerGate for the last six months has completely flipped my views on feminism. I use to think it was a necessary evil, but I see now it's just become a shield for bad actors to use to do bad things, but then claim it's for the moral good. I've found a number of great feminist though and decided that to resolve the issues of the "third-wave" feminist the best course of action will be to support the good ones.

Christina H. Sommers, and Cathy Young to name a couple. These women seem to realize the pendulum has swung too far to one side. They support feminism, but not at the cost of allowing outrage feminist to spread misleading statistics and lies to scare other younger women into becoming feminist who don't support equality, but simply propagate more fear and lies. The reason we don't have more women in tech is because they're scared off by stories of how bad things are, which is perpetuated by the media that loves a good click bait story that can be blown a hundred times out of proportion using "opinion" pieces where they don't' have to use "facts" or the "truth". So young women end up in gender studies instead learning how to create more fear, which just propagates the cycle.

Many of the women I personally work with are much older than myself and often told me they never feel like they've been discriminated against, but they're told they're the anomaly so they just keep quite on it. One shared a case where she was having that conversation with a friend, who's a sociologist, and was basically told, "Well good for you, now shut your mouth because the rest of us are dealing with it and you're making it harder."

Honestly, I wish I'd never started following GamerGate, it's made me really cynical toward everyone. I see agendas everywhere now. Whenever a new hit piece on GamerGate comes out I go and read the journalists twitter feed and it's years of retweeting ideologies, "Save the women", "Men are rapists", "RAPE CULTURE UP 400% ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES!! EPIDEMIC!!". What's really hard to swallow is it seems like 80% the journalists is some straight hipster white guy telling ALL other straight white guys how evil they are and acting smug because apparently knowing how evil ALL cis-white-males are means your immune to being evil yourself. Just go read John Bowman's [twitter.com] feed to see what I mean.

Sorry I ranted all over your journal. I guess I'm getting despite for conversations that are more than 140 characters ^_^
