I guess we have all seen all those wonderful toys coming from China. Technologies unimaginable a few years ago, like quadricopters and microminiature concealed cameras. It looks like the US Military is taking notice.

Other countries (such as China) build our stuff, understand how it works, and have found out how to make it very inexpensively. A remote-controlled drone was once the exclusive domain of law enforcement... now just about anyone who wants one can buy one.

Yup, it looks like the-powers-that-be are realizing their cats are getting out of the bag...

USA is run by SJWs and feminists in the middle manager area.
Would be good to see it go down because of them.

People bitching about boobs in video games will have nothing to do with America's decline. Real issues, like exporting all our skilled jobs in favor of burger flipper and importing temporary workers to handle all of our technology at the behest of multinational moneyed middlemen -- the same group that owns our government ... that's the reason we will wither.

However, considering the evil the US military does in the world to support those MMM, maybe it isn't a bad thing in the long run.

Perhaps there's better alternatives to US based multinational moneyed middlemen (MMM). Like the Russki cleptocracy where if your business looks nice one of the government confidante will just grab it. Or the Chinese one party system where anyone charged with a crime is automatically guilty. Also run by a tight group that will just take what they want from you more or less.

So while MMM sucks, the alternatives is perhaps even worse. The big conundrum is whether the MMM will get that their dominance is being undermined by their own actions or if reality will bite them before they take action.

What US needs to do is to make sure that any talented student within STEM has all obstacles removed without exception. And that there's Blue skies research funding awaiting after graduation. Make sure these students don't need to do anything but being the best talent.

Actually, I'd say they have a lot to do with the decline. When more media attention is focused on a neanderthal wandering out of his cave than on the abuses of the national security apparatus, the continuing long term decline of the US, or other real issues - which when you think about it is a natural propaganda distraction maneuver - then sure, they have a lot to do with America's decline.

The the problem is that the government and media is co-opted by corporations special interests?

As long as you remember that the governments are the largest and most powerful of those corporations.
