Officials: SurveyMonkey CEO Died In Treadmill Accident

The tragic sudden death of Silicon Valley entrepreneur Dave Goldberg, CEO of SurveyMonkey and husband of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, has taken a twist. The cause of death was initially withheld; now it has been reported that the 47-year old died while working out in a gym at a Mexican resort hotel. Goldberg was found by his brother lying next to a treadmill in a pool of blood, with a gash in his head; state officials believe the injury occurred after he fell off the machine. Meanwhile, the general manager at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita - denies that Goldberg was even a guest at the hotel or residences.

    There is a number of stories over the last couple of years where people end up with head injuries as means of extortion scams. You go somewhere alone, someone bashes your head, you wake up in hospital that then charges you thousands and send you on your way. Some of these end up worse than others, and people end up dead or have severe head trauma.

    There is more violence in Mexico than you can shake your stick at. I would be extremely suspicious of this 'official' explanation unless there is surveillance of this man actually falling down and hitting his head with no one else around.

    That's not the only Mexican gash scam -- take that cute senorita back to your room for a fuck and her friend will steal your wallet and take blackmail pictures.
