Sweden's highest court has thrown out Julian Assange's appeal against his arrest warrant where he is wanted for questioning. Prosecutor Marianne Ny changed her mind earlier about questioning Assange in London. Assange has repeatedly requested that the questioning take place over the phone or in London as per common practice, to avoid traveling to Sweden where he fears he risks extradition to the US. Sweden has also repeatedly refused to give assurances regarding possible extradition.

The only reason Assange is safe is that the UK has so far been unwilling to attack the Ecuador embassy to get him. Everyone, including Assange, is assuming that the moment that either the UK or Swedish authorities get hold of Assange, he will be sent to the US for trial for a show trial and possibly execution.
The reason the Ecuador embassy has not sent Assange to Ecuador is that the UK has promised to violate diplomatic protocols to prevent exactly that kind of move. Since this is basically the same folks that grounded and searched the plane of the president of Bolivia because they thought Edward Snowden was on board, this is not an idle threat.

Yes, and how is it that nobody answered for that outrage? Does nobody in government answer for any outrage anymore?
For me, the illusion that we live under the Rule of Law has been completely, totally shattered. Our governments comprise thugs, thieves, and murderers who commit their never-ending crimes with impunity.

Bolivia is apparently demanding that Assange answer for that outrage:

Holy fucking shit. Are you that stupid? The US doesn't want shit to do with him. He's got plenty of legal standing, since he is a "reporter" and all, and all it would end up being a huge drama show for him (which he would LOVE, by the way). Every news organization from Fox News on down would stand behind him, and legal precedent is on his side. The crap that comes out of you hero-worshipers mouths is pretty unbelievable. You can truly see how martyrs are born.
