I browse soylent from work. Recently I am more frequently being met with a blockpage from the filter(bluecoat). Apparently we are being classified as "Political/social advocacy." Not what I would expect. Kind of a WTF headscratcher for me.

If I disappear then this would be why. Though I doubt I my corner of the internet soapbox would be missed. Someone else will be able to fill my sarcastic joke space pretty easily.

To the cred of SN, this is one of about 6 sites I actually have a log in for, including email. Most anywhere else I just lurk. I don't do social media, there is only one other site I have really posted to. I kinda regret not signing up earlier so I could have a lower UID (I could have had a three digit UID).

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Quite a perplexing categorisation on the face of it, from our perspective.

We shall contact Bluecoat for theirs.

Yep. I thought it was odd too. I haven't had a filter screen in a while though. That may be a result of how the company implements their service though.

So, a bluecoat is a redcoat that held its breath until it turned blue?

Actually, this is a comment, submitted after loading rehash on 6/1 to a comment that existed before the site upgrade to see if we can reproduce a but we've encountered.
