Wired has a gushing review of the Mad Max reboot:

Lightning rarely strikes twice, so going into Mad Max: Fury Road it's hard not to dwell on the words of Max Rockatansky himself: "You know hope is a mistake. If you can't fix what's broken, you'll go insane." The thing is, Max is wrong. Fury Road is everything fans could have hoped for.

It's also a very necessary movie right now. Fury Road is not only a reminder of what big, beautiful action movies can and should look like, it's a reminder that they can have a point. That spectacle can have substance. That, in a cinematic landscape where we're still fighting over the roles women get in movies, a new Ripley might just be waiting in the next trailer you see. (In Fury Road's case, that's Charlize Theron in a heart-stoppingly badass performance as Imperator Furiosa.)

Cars, guns, desert, and 1980's style post-apocalyptic fashion.

And obviously YOU sir didn't bother to read whom I was responding to, who was defending the movie by throwing a shitload of SJW "empowerment" crap and saying that was realistic for an end of society scenario...bullshit, we have 10,000 years of recorded history that shows, without a single doubt to be had, that without the power of the state to enforce law? Women are currency and rape toys, men are cannon fodder and prey. That's it, that is what happens every. single. time. that a society breaks down and no longer has the power of the state.

This is why I have to LMAO at the anarcho libertarians like Stefan that say "without the state people would rule themselves without violence and in peace"...bwa ha ha ha ha, yeah if the rule of law were to disappear tomorrow within 30 years the south would go back to Jim Crow (or worse), the north would be like out of "The Warriors" where you didn't dare leave your turf for fear of becoming prey, and women of course would be currency, with the wealthy and powerful showing off their harems of underage slave girls.

If there is one thing that history should have taught of is that a PERSON can be decent or just or honest, but in a group humans become nothing more than jackals, vicious and bloodthirsty and brutish.

ACs are never seen so don't bother. Always ready to show SJWs for the racists they are.
