Mageia 5 was finally released, after over a year in development. The biggest change is added support for UEFI, while other major changes include updating the Linux kernel to 3.19.8 and X.org to 1.16.4. Mageia is a five year-old fork of Mandriva formed by a group of Mandriva's former developers, and is known for the same user friendliness and polish.
