I love how despite the fact that voat violates the terms of service of these things people love to defend them. It has to be SRS right, couldn't possibly be lack of moderation and the kinds of people that generally attracts? They use a German host and neo-nazi stuff is posted, which violates the TOS and German law, their contract is cancelled, but it was obviously some sort of conspiracy. Paypal shuts down donations, because they again violated the TOS and possibly the law, but nope it has to be evil SRS trying to get their evil sjw all over the place. Here is a hint, you can be anonymous and you can say pretty much what ever you want on the internet without consequences, but when you deal with businesses that have a PR department you cannot expect them not to distance themselves from you when you're this toxic.

You're blaming Voat for what can be SRS and/or other trolls who want Voat taken down so intentionally post illegal content and report them to their hosts / funding partners / etc. in order to get them shut down.

Especially when there's evidence of SRS organizing child porn and other offensive posting campaigns to do such false flags, and then gloating about their victories after the fact. It's not voat's fault that any moderation can be overwhelmed with a big enough brigade of shit stirrers. It's not their fault if you choose to ignore that such illegal posts are deleted as promptly as can be expected after having been reported.

Nice detachment from reality. It's like watching someone get shot then blaming them for being allergic to lead.

It's not Paypal's job to dictate the law. They should wait until there's an actual court case.

You're not in the least bit concerned that these giant, greedy companies who have practical monopolies can just cut off the services your donators and customers use to send you money (voluntarily) on a whim? They did it to Wikileaks, and they'll do it to anyone who challenges the status quo. I don't know about you, but I cannot be in favor of a plutocracy.
