Paypal has stopped processing payments for Voat, a donation-supported open-source clone of Reddit. A moderator of Reddit's SRS community has taken credit for convincing Paypal to take action against Voat.

It's not Paypal's job to dictate the law. They should wait until there's an actual court case.
You're not in the least bit concerned that these giant, greedy companies who have practical monopolies can just cut off the services your donators and customers use to send you money (voluntarily) on a whim? They did it to Wikileaks, and they'll do it to anyone who challenges the status quo. I don't know about you, but I cannot be in favor of a plutocracy.
