Lenovo design chief David Hill is asking for feedback about an up-top-date classic Thinkpad

"Imagine a blue enter key, 7 row classic keyboard, 16:10 aspect ratio screen, multi-color ThinkPad logo, dedicated volume controls, rubberized paint, exposed screws, lots of status LED's, and more", he writes, asking whether this would be the ThinkPad of choice for the design connoisseur, or too old school?

ThinkPad Time Machine?

We have been testing the Asus ZenBook UX305FA (both the regular and QHD+ version) and the clickpad on it is almost exactly the same as the Macbooks. For $700, it's the best deal I see on the market for those on the move- and the battery life on it lasts a true 10 hours of regular use. I miss the days of my old Thinkpad, but the last Thinkpad I'll use is the W520. It has the horsepower to get the job done, but for being on the move the 2.5lb is just awesome.
