I'm wondering what Linux distros my fellow soylentils use, and why.

I myself have loved Fedora since version 7, and never cared much for Debian systems. My desktops either run Fedora or a source-built XFCE system. What distros do you use, what architectures, and why do you use them? Are there any distros you wish were still around?

Linux Mint XFCE on my main box. I mostly like it, except for the once a month or so that I end up rebooting it, and then have to sort out my monitors again. Multi-monitor support is crap. If anybody knows of a distro with working support for multiple monitors on an Nvidia card, I'm very interested. XFCE is pretty much required though.

I also run various versions of Linux Mint and Ubuntu on several old machines that are used as print servers, etc. Some version or other of Linux on the NAS box -- it came with it, it just works. Oh, and Android 4.4 on the phone.

I have found that the latest Xfce version 4.12 handles multiple monitors a lot better. What version are you running?
