Land Rover is recalling more than 65,000 cars to fix a software bug that can "unlatch" the vehicles' doors.
Drivers would get no dashboard warning that the doors of their car had been unlocked, the firm said.
The glitch affects Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles sold between 2013 and now.
In a statement, Land Rover said no accidents or injuries were reported to have occurred as a result of the bug.
Another entry in the forthcoming blockbuster book, "The Internet of Things will be Fun Times."

I don't know but speculate the recent Office of Personnel Records breach would not have occurred were Federal employees to while away their workdays reading RISKS at the expense of the American Taxpayer.
Of my own posts my favorite is The Sinking of the USS Gitarro [ncl.ac.uk].
(It's actually spelled "Guitarro".)
Someone sunk a submarine at the very height of the Vietnam War because he didn't Read The Fine Manual.
Again I don't know but speculate that the base realignment and closure commission closed at least some bases not because we didn't need them after the fall of Communism but because of, uh, "hardware bugs" such as the one I report at the very end.
