And Regeneron has signed a deal with Pennsylvania's Geisinger Health System to sequence the genes of more than 100,000 volunteers.

And I'm under no obligation to cushion you or anyone from headlines that others write. I submit articles to the community that I think people might enjoy or like talking about. If you're looking for a safe space to hear about news but not have your attention unduly drawn or your emotions triggered by salacious language, then Soylent might not be the place for you. Or maybe you could pony up your own submissions and help tip the balance on Soylent more toward what you'd like to see. But I'm personally not interested in processing every submission into pablum for anyone.
See, here again it indicates you have not helped build up anything by submitting, because if you had you'd know that's added automatically by the system; it says you prefer to tear down others (whether from insecurity, mean-spiritedness, mercenary motive, etc is left as an exercise for the reader).
You so frequently sling arrows at the contributions that others have made to the site without pitching in yourself. Honestly, it comes across as mewling.
It doesn't concern me. I contribute enough with a consistent style that regular visitors can pick up pretty quickly on what is my input, and what comes from TFA. If there's doubt, they can RTFA. If they can't be bothered to RTFA, then it makes no nevermind.
If you wonkey_monkey dislike the articles floating around on the internet, and which are echoed in part or in full here for community consideration and discussion, then don't read them. If you don't have the confidence or the mettle to help this place more closely hew to whatever standard you have, then by all means find someplace that calls that forth from you. Or malinger and continue to denigrate as you have, and may you reap the mods from the seeds you have sown.
