    Yeah, I know that there was a brief fad with humanoid robots made by Sony a few years back, but imagine 15 years from now when they can be made arbitrarily dog- or cat-like -- without the poop, urine, dander, or degenerative diseases.

    Now THAT would be a sorry day for homo sapiens.
