Reuters reports:

An Indonesian domestic passenger aircraft carrying 54 people lost contact with air traffic control on Sunday in the remote eastern Papua region, the National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) said. "Lost contact with plane," BASARNAS chief Bambang Soelystyo told Reuters by phone.

According to the official BASARNAS Twitter account, the aircraft belonging to Trigana Air Service was carrying 44 adult passengers, five crew and five children and infants.

[...] An AirAsia passenger jet crashed en route from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore last December, killing all 162 people on board. The crash prompted the government to introduce regulations aimed at improving safety.

Or they are trying to kill someone. Their mind-reading brigade says there is one person in that area (an adult or child) who will change the future away from their plans. All these planes dropping out of the skies are collateral damage. They just want to kill one person. And innocent people will continue to die until the person they are after vanishes from the planet, and their mind-readers can no longer detect him.

I think I saw that movie :) Maybe that “harassing goats” brigade thinks Jesus lives there. My bet would be that she is ethnic Chinese this time :D

(I don't even know if I'm trolling or not, or who (me?), would be great if it was true (the Jesus part I mean) even though I'm not a christian).

P.s. they crashed into a mountain afaik, sadly not that uncommon around there.

P.p.s. there's only one weird incident that hasn't been explained and that's the original one, the one they've found a piece of recently on the other side of the Indian ocean. The chain of events (between the disabling of the transponder and finding a single or maybe two pieces of wreckage almost a quarter of the world —but nearly all water— away) are still completely unexplained except for a partial and somewhat unreliable or assumed flight path (which seems mostly based on drawing lines in noise and/or missing noise).

In a world where almost all ships (as opposed to boats) are actively tracked, it's hard to believe no one has anything solid to share about that plane. Particularly a plane flying in somewhat close vicinity to the Strait of Malacca which is filled with a constant flow of among other things highly explosive oil tankers. However if it really was an attempt at an improved version of “commercial planes as improvised flying bombs” going on (and being covered up) then one is left wondering why they didn't try to hit anything (even a failed attempt at night should be impossible to cover up) and instead ended up somewhere closer to one of the most remote/quiet areas of ocean in the world.
