Mozilla CEO Chris Beard has threatened to fire an anonymous person complaining about "social justice bullies" at Mozilla on Reddit, should the person be discovered to be an employee.

Chris Beard stated that the Reddit user aoiyama's complaints "crossed the line" in a series of posts about the women in the company, including recently departed community organizer Christie Koehler. In a series of tweets earlier this month, Koehler complained about Mozilla's lack of diversity in the workplace and its failure to address accessibility issues.

The Reddit user's comments:

"Frankly everyone was glad to see the back of Christie Koehler. She was batshit insane and permanently offended at everything," the user wrote. "When she and the rest of her blue-haired nose-pierced asshole feminists are gone, the tech industry will breathe a sigh of relief." It was that remark that appeared to trigger Beard's warning today. "When I talk about crossing the line from criticism to hate speech, I'm talking about when you start saying 'someone's kind doesn't belong here, and we'll all be happy when they're gone.'"

So, I looked up Koheler's blog [subfictional.com], and from the tweets about departing from Mozilla there's this gem:

"We tell people to speak their mind, but marginalize those who do when what they say doesn't match the status quo"

I wonder if Koehler will state support for aoiyama's attempt to "Speak their mind" and against Beard's attempt to "marginalize" these views.

Or for a former employee who at some time in the past supported the majority political stance, but which fell out of favour in the intervening years?

You have to understand she isn't speaking English, she is speaking NewSpeak and once you realize that you can correctly translate her words.

"Speaking their mind" means everyone should be free (i.e. required) to duckspeak the Party Line, whatever it is today. Remember that silence is assent so that is almost as bad as hatespeech itself. Nobody is ever 'free' to vocalize their filthy crimethink however, they are obviously defective and need to be taken off for reeducation because they have committed three crimes. First they had the bad thought itself, then they failed to instantly realize their malfunction and didn't go seek help for their problem and finally they harmed everyone they spoke their sick disgusting badthoughts to and risked contaminating them too.

Indeed. If you don't tolerate my intolerance you are just a damn hypocrite!!! There should be room for everybody, including the people who don't want to make room for everybody.

Also, GNU are a bunch of hypocrites, talking about Freedom and then trying to stop me from being Free to limit other people. Bunch of damn hypocrites all around.
