Experimental Unity Game Engine Editor Released for Linux

Most of us have heard of the Unity game engine, and until a couple of weeks ago we were restricted to using OSX or Microsoft Windows for development: on 26 August, an experimental build was released for Linux.

It is still a work in progress and there are a number of issues, including (the extremely inconvenient) not being able to drag between windows within Unity. I've also had crashes every time I try to add a component through the button, but it works through the drop-down menu.

One less reason to use Microsoft Windows - my partition has been deleted.

    Big talk from an Internet Tough Guy with an inability to understand what's right in front of him.

    The point was that the partition was deleted because that was the one app that needed it. I doubt a simpleton like you could be expected to grasp such subtlety from a simple statement like that.

    Oh no! I insulted an Internet Tough Guy! I'd better watch out! He's going to get me! Oh no, the Tough Guy is mad at me! Oh somebody protect me, the Internet Tough Guy is angry at me now!       Better watch out, bro, tough-guy is so tough that he once deactivated his Facebook account to stick it to "the man."

      To show you how little he cares about authority, he's even saying he's gonna delete that Facebook account someday. He has nothing to lose!
