Long story short: The Danish Geodata Agency [eng.gst.dk] (Geodatastyrelsen), a part of The Danish Ministry of the Environment [eng.mim.dk], has created a 1:1 model of Denmark in Minecraft [gst.dk] (No English version available yet, so here's a Google Translate [google.com] link) based on their publicly available data of Denmark, such as elevation models and data about roads and buildings.

At the same time a coordinate system has been introduced so you can find your way around in case you want to visit a specific place.
