[komonews.com] That prompted a condescending phone call from a Google manager who seemed more interested in damage control than quality control. Frustrated, and insulted, Seely stepped it up with a proof-of-concept social-engineering hack that let him intercept and record some calls to the FBI and Secret Service. [gawker.com] That stunt got him arrested.

At this point in the narrative you might expect Seely to find himself facing 20+ years in prison. But instead he was released within hours and the special agent in charge has called Seely a "hero."
