About Operating Systems, and OS discussions. 99 comments

We've had the door open for a while now, and we've put up a number of articles about Operating systems but the discussion has been rather light.

Have we just gotten mellow about the options? Are you waiting for a review of Windows 8 to plaster the pages with your disgust?

Are we at a point where all of the options are no better than the others?

Where has all the passion gone?

Isn't this just typical of the FOSS crowd? Two and a half weeks late for pi day?

Or is it just that the Finnish mind is incapable of comprehending the difference between pi day and april fools' day? "They're both holidays in late winter (occurs after deep winter), when it's a balmy 'fucking cold' out, what's the difference?"

They probably release it when it is deemed ready, not because it elicits smirks in some people.

Well since the Finns follow Europe/international dates 14/03/2014 won't cut it for Pi day perhaps they will go with a 22/07/2014 release to satisfy your hunger for such a release...
