"The Pentagon's premier research and development division, DARPA, has awarded a $40 million grant to a pair of American universities to help develop "memory restoration technologies" that the agency says are aimed at helping military personnel cope with brain injuries, but which seem like they could also be used to implant phony memories."

    An implant that makes all the drones compliant is just what we need. You will always remember that the government is right regardless of anything..

    The catch is that you can manipulate people but when people act on false ideas about reality it will fail. That applies also to the manipulator.

      I've known management types like that. They get really mad when faced with reality, and usually have a scapegoat to punish for it.

    Of course that would require an absurd amount of storage as well as the ability to record and retrieve such memories in the first place.
