China has shut down Apple's online book and movie services as it imposes strict rules governing what can be published on the net.
Regulations were unveiled in March that outlawed foreign ownership of online publishing services. The rules also required that all content shown to Chinese people must be stored on servers based on the Chinese mainland.
Apple said it hoped access to the services would be restored soon.

So Abble has to censor the store twice now, once using their own arbitrary rules (like anything sexual is BAAAAD) and once with the chink rules (like anything anti-gobblement is BAAAD) and now Abble freaks out and closes shop. Noice.

Disregarding the trollish nature of your comment for a minute, according to TFS (and TFA), "Abble" did not "freak out and close shop" because of any censorship rules. China did not tell Apple to censor their store, the store's very existence was completely outlawed. Even if Apple decided to sell exclusively official government propaganda, since it's a foreign company, that would still be illegal.

One reason why businesses from the US another place is moved into China was that it was a huge, and largely untapped, market. It seems to me that China is systematically closing down that market. At the very least, they are reducing access.
Does Trump have it right? Should we be systematically scrubbing Chinese stuff from our markets as well?

firstly, trump is always wrong. he's a moron and doing whatever he can to get even more power. he cares nothing for you and I, lets get THAT straight, right off. none of them (except bernie) care about us and bernie won't get in because, well, the illuminati won't allow it (I'm half serious. or maybe 0.42 serious)
second, there are no strong leaders here would would show BALLS enough to talk shit to china. we are their 'profit partners' and while we say we are a mostly christian nation, the only real religion we have is MORE MORE MORE MONEY! greed wins, nothing else comes close to the american mentality.
and so, we are stuck in a bind with china. we should not have given them the keys to the kingdom but its not thinking people that made this decision, its the sociopaths who we label as 'leaders' who decided it would be 'good for america' to sell out, give up all our local manufacturing, give up all our local parts building and sourcing and give it all away to child-labor based china.
btw, while we are being frightened by the islamists who are 'coming to force us all to live under their law', the REAL threat is china and how its killing us, slowly, day by day. like the islamic nations, china could care less about us and our welfare and safety. once we have bought the last poisoned barrel of baby formula, they'll just shift to sell to and destroy their next target.
tl;dr: china is not a good world citizen and they have a 'burn down the world' view, where they truly could care less what happens to anyone non-chinese. not exactly a good 'business partner' in any way shape or form.

I didn't mod it one way or the other but I can see a good case for it being modded troll:
(1) There are zero facts, it is just a rant.
(2) It engages in lowbrow, derogatory stereotyping.
I think either of those in sufficient quantity can qualify as trolling, but combined it is a slamdunk.

apple should just pull out and totally refuse to deal with china.
does apple really NEED china, other than for, say, manufacturing? and there are many other asian countries that can match china's labor rate. they are not the only slave child labor in the world...
seriously, just pull out of china as a demonstration to them. they need apple more than apple needs china! if apple refuses to sell to china (I know, the capitalists would never allow such a decreate in PROFITS) then china would not have any more shiny things to copy and pirate as iphone clones.
I really wish some strong company (or country) would just show china that enough is enough and they don't get to dictate every single little thing their hearts desire.
ie, I wish there was a true balance of power, here.

Are you clueless?
China is Apple's largest market after the US.
China is the largest growth market for Apple bar none.
Since when does China need to copy Apple, when they can just copy Android directly and cut out the middleman?
None of those other countries have remotely comparable supply chains and infrastructure.
China doesn't need Apple at all, and would much prefer to sell their own phones, profit from their own app stores and spy on their own citizens by themselves. Apple must have done a lot of things and bribed the right people to be allowed back into China in the first place. Apple should just pray they don't alter the deal any further.
