Who asked for a bunch of "Avatar" sequels for Christmas? Your wish has been granted.

Better find out what the Na'vi want for Christmas, because the blue humanoids are going to be around for a lot of them.

The official Facebook page for James Cameron's sci-fi movie franchise announced on Saturday that dates have been set for the release of the next four "Avatar" sequels, and they're all right around the big December holiday movie rush, though in different years.

"Avatar takes flight as we begin concurrent production on four sequels," the post reads. "The journey continues December 18, 2020, December 17, 2021, December 20, 2024 and December 19, 2025!"

Which dystopian future movie is that from? Hopefully not The Matrix 4.

Meanwhile, Disney owns Star Wars, and the lens flare version of Star Trek is dead. How sad.

Yes, they extend their arms to bi-polar position and attack in formation, swarming the money trench for a chance at a shot towards exhaust port of the power generator.

In three years' time: "What's 'Avatar' daddy?"

Maybe they could just re-release the original every 2 years at progressively higher resolution and frame rate, and see if anybody noticed the lack of any sort of original or surprising plot development. I mean, is "Humans and Na'vi form an uneasy alliance against a common foe - but an evil human capitalist/military is planning a betrayal..." going to be #2 or #3? I can't wait to find out...

Add to that the problem of following a film which owed its success to a visual style that was unique at the time, but has since been copied to the point of cliche (see: The Matrix, Blade Runner...) and, yeah.

Or the moon in Avatar could be a terraforming project by another alien race, with the tree of souls location actually being the hub of the Terraforming equipment. All life on that planet has been designed to work in a particular way. Saaay, what other movie have we seen where you have blue aliens influencing the way life grows on planets... James and Ridley should work together on this one.

Sheesh! When we asked for Avatar sequels we meant Avatar: The Last Airbender, not Avatar: Pocahontas in Space.
