From heavy.com:

Art Bell, the radio host, is dead. How did he die? The cause of death is not yet known.

From The Washington Post:

Long before fake news became a political topic, Mr. Bell made a good living encouraging Americans to accept the most fantastic and unlikely tales, to believe that we are not alone, to accept that in a world where the pace of life seemed to quicken with every passing year, there were forces from beyond that were trying to tell us something.

Listened to your show a handful of times, a few decades ago. Back then it was common to get together with friends, smoke a joint or 3, have a beer or 6, and talk about whatever was on the radio.

None of us bought into your conspiracy theories but we all enjoyed listening to your show.

Then job, responsibilities, house, etc etc etc and my time to listen to your brand of crap dwindled to 0.

It's not in your head. Millennial culture demands obedience to authority, participation in social media, and virtue signalling on social media to show obedience to authority. GenXers who never lost the emo attitude of the 1990s, who are quietly confident instead of spamming social media about their lives, and who continue to show irreverence toward authority have no place in society. They don't work, literally, because they are middle aged homeless bums who are incapable of performing the requisite cocksucking to land a job.

A friend gave me a cassette tape with most of Ingo Swann's interview with Art Bell. The interview was probably around 1998, when Penetration: The Question of Human and Extra-Terrestrial Telepathy was originally (self-)published; I got the cassette in 2001 or so.

In 2004 I was clicking around Mr. Swann's website, was annoyed that the book was out of print, and ordered everything else he had for sale... In the process of completing that order I noticed that Ingo was going to be speaking in Las Vegas in 2 or 3 weeks. At the book signing after his talk, I told him why I thought he'd let his self-published book go out of print. He responded... "I suppose..." (me: doh!). Then I said that it was $120 on amazon. He said, "really? Don't pay that, you'll find a copy."

As the years went by, the price of secondhand copies got up to $1000... (They've republished it since he passed - 1st editions are probably reasonably priced now.)

I quoted Ingo to a passenger once. She'd interrupted my safety talk to say something about a 'psychic' having told her something-or-other. I hrmph'd [urbandictionary.com], and responded with "The Super-Psychic Ingo Swann said that we all have the ability to see the future, so that we can change it.." She didn't know anything about Ingo Swann, but that little quip sealed my crucifixion.

I eventually found a copy of Penetration at the 2016 VNSA booksale [vnsabooksale.org]'s rare & unusual section ($17). Someone had categorized it as an 'Adult' book. I wonder if this was as Mr. Swann had foreseen.

In 2004 Ingo said he didn't prepare speeches anymore, and just answered questions, but something must've motivated him to put a talk together for 2006... Ingo's 2006 las vegas speech is on Youtube, I think.

Albino gorillas happen in nature, but my point is that the original George was not an albino gorilla.

This Jew-run version typical of modern historical revisionism has gone beyond portraying noble Whites as Blacks, now it seeks to portray angry Blacks as Whites, albeit in a subtle manner.

George the albino silverback did everything he could to embrace the rites of his own people: he had learned how to "hip-hop-rap," he had submitted to Dr. Dre in the studio as a "bottom bitch," and yet, the darker kind refused to accept him. Now, after becoming addicted to meth some other mysterious incident allowed him to grow to the size of a multi-story building, and during that process he magically became an allegory of the alt-right: Now he takes out all that alt-right rage on everybody he can, destroying much shit in the process.

The Jews running Hollywood learned their lessons from the remake of Planet of the Apes. This is a brilliant-but-subtle adaptation of their technique.

I wouldn't be surprised. In nearly every commercial, tv show and web image slide show, the voice, the hero, the boss, the person positioned in the front, etc. all have to be black. Affirmative action has gone full psyop. I don't know if it's all the Jews' fault, but the neo nazi propaganda about an alliance between Jews and blacks certainly turned out to be true. Now, i think it's more the blue haired zombie soldiers churned out of scholastic and Judaeo-christian religious institutions who are so self destructive they do all the dirty work for their masters. I would be very picky with the tv if i were a parent.

Now, I like references to old video games in movies. But the Jews are getting intellectually lazy in raping old ideas to be exploited. They are running out of ideas. Captain America 10 and Transformers 43 are getting old. It's only a matter of time until they are so bankrupt of ideas that they make Galaga or Space Invaders movies. But while they are listening, hopefully they will make Two Crude, [wikipedia.org] Bad Dudes, [wikipedia.org] or Operation Wolf [wikipedia.org] movies.

I called in and got on the air on his program once when I lived in Albuqueruqe in the 90s. He was talking about foreign military gear being seen in New Mexico.

I told about the various Russian SAM and ballistic missile launchers (An SA-6 that had been captured during the Yom Kippur War and mockups of a Scud TEL) at Kirtland Air Force Base (Air Force Weapons Lab/Phillips Lab), and that no, they weren't part of a new world order invasion force. If you're building sensors to detect and target them, you have to have something to test them on.
We'd occasionally see them drive off base to get to some of the testing areas. My roommate at the time was an Air Force officer stationed there.

I learned to sleep with headphones on, listening to Art Bell (so as not to disturb the wife). I'd fall asleep right away but the stories on Coast2Coast would filter into my dreams, as would his bumper music. I remember one morning, many years ago, with vivid memories of a dream of a bottomless hole in my back yard, and strange screams coming up from the hole. I later figured out that it was my subconscious mixing two different Art Bell stories.

When Bell retired, I no longer enjoyed sleeping to Coast2Coast. His successor didn't have those wonderful pipes and ability to tell stories and interview. So now I find paranormal and esoteric podcasts about high strangeness. There are a few out there that strike the right tone for me. I like Radio Misterioso and Where Did The Road Go?. Sometimes The Higherside Chats is good, but too often their host gets used by alt-right conspiracy jackoffs like pizzagate and qanon. Then, he wastes a few shows on those topics before figuring out that they're bullshit. Unfortunately, a lot of the podcasters believe their personal lives and banter are interesting, and that spoils a lot of such podcasts, like Mysterious Universe and Grimerica. I wish they'd just get to the spooky shit and knock off the chit chat. Not many people can be as arresting just telling some mundane story the way Art Bell was.

If any of you know of any high strangeness podcasts that you can recommend, I'd love you to list a few.

    RIP, Art Bell.

He was my graveyard-shift security job's fuel in the early 90s. I drifted away from Coast to Coast when he moved from politics into paranormal. I thought he was an astute and entertaining political commentator and even when I disagreed with his opinions he was still worth listening to.
