Defense intelligence report: China in steady pursuit of space capabilities to outmatch U.S.
An unclassified report released Jan. 15 [PDF] by the Defense Intelligence Agency does not reveal anything new about China's advances in space technologies and capabilities. But it does highlight one major concern for the Pentagon: China's military is becoming increasingly adept at militarizing commercial space technologies.
The People's Republic of China is conducting "sophisticated satellite operations and probably is testing on-orbit dual-use technologies that could be applied to counterspace missions," said the DIA in its first unclassified report made public on China's military power.
China's space advances in support of civil, economic and political goals could provide the nation a significant edge in military operations, the DIA said. Chinese military strategists regard the ability to use space-based systems and deny them to adversaries as central to enabling modern warfare. "As a result, the People's Republic of China continues to strengthen its military space capabilities despite its public stance against the militarization of space," said the report.

Cerebrospinal fluid is a clear, colorless body fluid found in the brain and spinal cord. It is produced by the specialised ependymal cells in the choroid plexuses of the ventricles of the brain, and absorbed in the arachnoid granulations. There is about 125mL of CSF at any one time, and about 500mL is generated every day.

Seriously, we can't even build a wall to match the one China build ages ago. They're going to leave us in the dust. We deserve to have our asses whipped by the Han. Next up, they start importing us to do coolie labor for them. All those jobs that Chinese don't want to do.

it depends on how you define "space" 'cause a airplane could also be called a spaceship flying in atmosphere.
a artillery shell is a "satellite" that hasn't left atmosphere yet etc.

Well, there are some really people and systems in the world that straightforwardly have bad designs and intent and need to not be propped up until they find a rock, as we have been with China.
That said, there are certainly policies (internally and externally) in place by the US (or any other country for that matter) that are...shall we say...not appropriate.
In your opinion, is there a specific(*) threatening policy with regard to China that should be changed? If so,
- why was the policy initially implemented and does it still apply,
- why should it be changed,
- in what realistic way should it be changed,
- to-what should it be changed,
- what is the goal of the change,
- and what is the result you would foresee from this change?

I still wonder why America leaves so much of its technical talent unused.
And values even more the organizational and leadership skills that tell lower level engineers, machinists, assemblers, etc., that they no longer have a job... As outsourcing our technology is cheaper.
Then they seem to delight in security theater over copying a song. By deliberately inserting covert backdoors and remote system functions.

Not that long ago a teacher in China was giving lesson on language. Students reported her for being a traitor because some of the single symbols being taught in a lesson, if rearranged, could be interpreted as being against the party. She was imprisoned, tortured, and in the end thrown into a cell full of males with her arms bound behind her back.
You think China is civilised? Look where they came from. Look what they are doing now. Draining people's bank accounts. Kidnapping people, disappearing them. Nothing has changed.
