Many sources are reporting that Trump finally signed the pandemic relief bill:
Not gonna summarize all the bits in it - it's some 5k pages of legalese gobbledygook, but I understand it continues augmented unemployment benefits, eviction suspension, funding to prevent government shutdown, and another direct cash payment.
I'm sure it also has a bunch of "porky pork", but the people are suffering, time is of essence, and it should have been done months ago.

Trump has done so much good for the US and the world, world peace, in spite of what the left media says. After all Trump as been through with vicious lefty media attacks, the pandemic itself, rioting, significant doubts about election integrity, courts not willing to hear cases nor order investigations? I'd have resigned already, except for not wanting to dump it all on Pence.

I've spoken up for Trump when all the Squat Squads have tried to piss on him.
But, that has little to do with this time. WTF was he trying to accomplish? Senile is a plausible explanation. He has recovered from COVID, maybe it affected his mind, and pushed him 'round the bend.

1: I remember quite clearly the conservative freakout when Obama said he merely MIGHT talk to North Korea.
2: Someone who is actually good at the Art of the Deal, like Obama, would have gotten something in return for the legitimacy you gain when you have a photo of you hanging out with a US President as a despot.

However,I think you're correct in that guess. Senility does explain a lot of the recent years' antics and utterances from the stupid, fat, orange man. SARS-CoV-2 is only like to make that worse.
