Seems that The Mighty Buzzard is tired of winning. Filters and mod-bans, IRC kicks, anyone who proves that TMB is a loser in debate sooner or later finds themselves blocked from SoylentNews. And seems it is just this one dev who is asserting these admin powers, and lobbying for more draconian rules.

That is false knowledge. I get that Runaway wrote [soylentnews.org] the civil war thing about "twenty million dead liberals lying in the streets". That was allegedly conditional on there being a looming threat of mass slavery - such threats can be real or imagined. If we look at actual wars rather than imaginary ones, there's plenty of real and delusional claims made as a pretext for fighting. Runaway's post doesn't tell us whether he'd start such a war on the basis of delusional threats rather than real ones. Your meager and illusionary experience is no guide here.
Funny how you're the one doing that, right now. The tell is that you can talk all day about how right you are, but you rarely try to state a concrete reason why. The certainty is remarkably vague.

What I find particularly interesting about your pathological assertions is how kin it is to racism and similar bigotry. You identity certain allegedly irreversible mental illness (of the sociopathy/psychopathy sort) with evil. That's little different than the moral associations that racists routinely make with the ethnicity of their targets. Neither the allegedly irreversible mental illness ("acknowledged lost cause") nor the ethnicity can be changed and thus the alleged flaw can't be corrected.
The second similarity is that the flaw in question is convenient for the bigot. The racist has an excuse to either ignore or exploit the problems of their targets because in the racist's mind, the target deserves it. Similarly, by identify people like me with evil, you no longer have to think - about whether I'm right or not. It's a convenient, dehumanizing ad hominem attack that allows you to protect your broken reasoning from criticism.
Finally, what happens to me, if people with opinions on mental illness like you get in power? Will HR departments declare me unemployable because I have an evil mental illness which only people with really sensitive antenna can detect? Will I be jailed? There's this convenient pretext to destroy my life because of some vague judgment that anyone can pull out of their ass.
That's why I am better morally than you. It doesn't matter to me what you believe or what mental illnesses you have, but rather what you do. It doesn't matter that Runaway talks tough about a hypothetical civil war or that you're a bigot. It matters that both of you are gainfully employed - not burdens on others - and helping others.
If Runaway should some point in the future use his concern about hypothetical slavery to unjustly harm others in a terrorist attack or other, then that's an act of evil. Should you do the same based on your convictions, it will be a similar act of evil. I think our moral role at present is to stop these evils not attack law-abiding people who aren't harming anyone. That includes clearing our awareness and perception so that we know when someone isn't harming others rather than attributing evil to them unjustly - a common injustice you do all the time.
TL;DR: I don't care whether the EMT (emergency medical technician) is racist, evil, or whatever, I care whether they will do their job. That makes me morally superior to the people picking at imaginary motives and beliefs.
