Welcome to the new site everyone. As penance for my embarrassing triple posting earlier, I have been asked by the admins to post a link to our lovely bug tracker, which can be found at http://sylnt.us/bugs. If you notice any odd behavior around the site, please don't hesitate to submit a notice. Thank you, everyone.

Is there any chance the site admins can change the default font to VERDANA ?
Compared to the current default (ARIAL), reading masses of text in VERDANA is much easier on the eyes and small details have better definition.
    Thanks for your consideration.

I would prefer this change too.

I also reckon it's about 2px too big. We're not all blind y'know...

The current CSS is a mess and the devs are aware, It needs a total rewrite to include a barebones reset. I think the will probably be done with the application of new site design that the art people are working on. I have some changes to the comments.css that need to be applied, but the debs are busy with other more pressing issues now, including sleep for some :)

Kinda figured as much. :) Nothing I say should ever be taken as a direct request, I just tend to think with my mouth open... Still I am surprised that the slashcode has such large text in the first place... Designed for smaller monitors maybe (but then the DPI used to be quite low, so surely we'd be seeing tiny text, not larger...)

No the css was developed when 13pt was the default for most browsers not the 16pt it is now. So the css never had the default font size set. As we see it now we get the larger fonts.
