A Puyallup, Washington man, Scott A. Orton, has been charged after making online death threats towards a biotechnology company involved with Planned Parenthood, such as "Kill StemExpress employees. I'll pay you for it" posted on a Fox Nation comment section:

A Washington man who allegedly threatened executives of a California biotech company that processed fetal tissue from Planned Parenthood faces prosecution in one of the rarest sorts of criminal cases – for violence threatened online.

The indictment stated that Scott A Orton, 57, had a record of online menacing of local journalists, city council members, fellow commenters and even FBI agents, dating back to at least 2009. The rare prosecution comes in the wake of a mass shooting in a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic. Orton was arrested by federal agents in December for making an interstate threat to kill an executive of StemExpress.

The California firm was thrust into the spotlight when anti-abortion activists attacked the company's fetal tissue procurement practices and released highly edited, secretly filmed videos from inside Planned Parenthood. Orton's alleged comments threatened to hang a StemExpress executive with piano wire, on the Fox News website.

Two legal, registered guns were seized from Orton's home just days before three people were killed and nine injured by a shooter at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic.

    Idiot bites the big one.

People, if you must murder someone, you don't threaten him first. Blowhards, braggarts, idiots, and insecure boys threaten people. Never threaten to punish your child, never threaten to "get even", never threaten anyone, anytime, anywhere. Just get off your ass, and take care of business.

Death is pretty clean. Enslaving another person is always dirty. Do you respect yourself? Do you respect other people? Do you respect life?

I suppose that you'll argue that intimidating people can't be equated with slavery?

And, I suppose that you're not savvy enough to fear the man you've beaten down into subjection. The slave owners before the US civil war at least understood that they had reason to fear the slaves.

The problem with this very specific notion is that looking at recent history, for the most part, violent revolutions have been associated with big step backs in individual freedoms. The American revolution seems to be more exception than rule.

Ok. I love this. I really do. There are 3 things that define being a slave.
          1. Having no choice about what you do, an being punished for non-compliance by violence or elaborate systems that lead to violence.
          2. Getting no openly exchangeable currency as pay for your work.
          3. Having less rights than are granted to your superiors.

Let's get to the bottom of this.

We are having choices taken away from us today. Witness the whole progressive agenda of disarming the population, punishing people for "hate speech", the huge population in prisons, drug laws, and so much more. FFS, they punish you for not wearing a SEAT BELT! In their imagined moral superiority, they have some responsibility to make my life miserable if I don't buckle the stupid belt!

He obviously doesn't understand that slaves have always had money. More trusted slaves in many cultures often had large sums of money. In most cultures, a slave could even buy his freedom, if he were industrious, frugal, and had an honest master.

We are witnessing today how rights are being stripped from the common man, and given to the ruling class. Copyright law is one of their favorite tools for that, being presented as treaties, like the TPP. Anyone who doubts that some of the animals are more equal than others only needs sit through a few days in court. Poor black kids from the hood are intimidated into accepting plea deals, so that they can be rushed from the local jail house to the prison. Poor white kids generally take a couple days longer, before being sent of to prison. Wealthy people might drag their negotiations and/or trials on for weeks and months, to ultimately have their charges dropped. They can afford to hire well-known lawyers.

We aren't at the level of slavery that the US was at centuries ago, but we are most certainly moving back in that direction.

People like GP who advocate intimidating people into submission and/or compliance are little more than slave masters, or wannabe slave masters. They want to dictate how people around them live their lives. If/when the shoe is on the other foot, then they recognize that intimidation for what it is - mob rule. Might makes right, and the mob has might.

Listen, you ignoramus of a hillbilly! Damn right I am going to make your life miserable if you do not wear your seatbelt! Tire-iron upside the head (which will learn you about always wearing a helmet), pick-axe handle to the shin, and soft cushions until you cry for mercy!! Why should I even care what you in your sovereign autonomy decide to do with your life? Because, you self-centered uneducated Republican of shit-for-brains, what you do affects the rest of us. I, and probably the majority of members on this site, do not care much (a little, but not much) if you are ejected from vehicle as a result of an impact where you were not wearing proper restrains, but if you do not die immediately, do you think you can pay for all the care that has to go into saving your worthless un-seatbelted hide? Guess who is going to end up footing the bill for your "freedumb"? Yes, even under Obamacare, it is going to be the rest of us. And if, god forbid, you end up in a persistent vegetative state (wait, how do we know this has not already happened? Runaway! You paraplegic Troll! ), then we could end up paying an awful lot for your survival, with no return to society at all.

So to repeat, If I ever see you driving, or being a passenger, and not wearing your seatbelt and helmet, and signaling your lane changes, I will make your life miserable. It could be worse. And if it becomes so, we will make you pay.

You're so very worried about supporting me after an accident - yet the government locks people into penitentiaries for meaningless bullshit. The same government supports multiple generations of families on welfare. The government is actively inviting "immigrants" from all nations south of the Rio Grande, and offering them free housing, free medical care, and welfare to boot. That same government is telling us that it intends to bring in hundreds of thousands of "refugees" from war torn countries in the mideast - with no effective methods of screening out the terrorists.

You're worried about possibly supporting a man who has been a taxpayer, a voter, a working, contributing member of society for over 40 years? You'll shit on a veteran of the Armed Forces this way?

how have they demonized GOP candidates? exposing what candidates say during a debate is simply journalism.

Bias vs extremism? You brand Fox as extremist, but all the rest of MSM is merely biased? Uhhhh - yeah. That "biased" MSM bears equal responsibility with the Democratic party, Republican party, and Fox for polarizing politics.

Far more than half of Americans believe that their party is "good", and the opposing party is "evil".

Back up and read. I've stated that both Fox and the rest of the MSM are extreme. It's the other side that is arguing that the progressive media are NOT extreme. So, what you're accusing me of, applies as much and more so to those who can't recognize that our media is mostly biased toward socialism today.

or in the case of facts and evidence, omitted.

Why does that matter? Fox News is an entertainment channel. It needs to be about as informative and accurate as Ghost Hunters, or the search for Big Foot on the aptly named "History" Channel.

I seem to recall that Fox News isn't obligated to the truth like real journalists precisely because they self-identify as entertainment no different than The Daily Show (which is probably less biased). In any case, anybody with a few brain cells can see that Fox News acts no different than a tabloid does in retaining its particularly demographic. With very much the same kind of activities and articles, all pandering to prurient and provincial interests when not actively fear mongering.

Personally, my idea of a Fox News viewer is that crazy Scottish dad from I Married An Axe Murderer. "They put chemicals in the water making you crave the baby parts, fortnightly... you SMARTASS!!! HEAD!! DOWN!! I'm trying to see Bill O'Reilley. Smart man, he is...."

Absolutely. What's more, and notion that anything in any (supposedly) left-leaning mainstream media is even in the same universe as Fox News is laughable. Fox is pure propaganda to a degree I just don't see anywhere else.

The closest thing I can even think of think of was the failed Air America Radio. To be honest, I think that failed because people on the left (certainly the ones I know) have no interest in that BS preaching to the choir crap, purely intended to convince you of things you already believe in. I sure don't have any interest in that.

I'd have to say my favorite news source is NPR...I'm sure someone will chime in on how they're far to the left or some such BS. This country has shifted so far right it doesn't even remember what the fucking left is.
