Firstly, the majority of media is more focused on profits than “liberal” politics.
Secondly, the issue is not what Trump was saying/doing years ago: what is empowering Trump's rise from salesman/entertainer to political leader is is “who is VOTING for Trump now” ?
People who are voting for Trump to be President of the USA are not self-described “liberals”.
