One of last year's best television science fiction shows, Orphan Black, will begin its second season this Saturday, April 19th.
The joint BBC America & Canadian Space Channel production is about Sarah, a street-wise young woman who witnesses her doppelganger commit suicide in a subway station. Unhappy with her own life, Sarah decides to take on the identity of the dead woman only to discover there are even more clones of her about town and some of them aren't very friendly.
Wired has a cheat sheet of characters and events for those who have seen season 1 but have forgotten some of the details over the last year.
For those who have not seen the first season, Amazon has obtained an exclusive license for the online streaming rights. If you still have a cable TV provider, it might be available on demand.

Yeah the end of episode 6 was brilliant. It almost made it onto my favourites list, but I didn't want to list all the episodes :-).
I love the cardboard box in the garage with "time travel stuff" written on it. I intend to label a box the same way, though the contents will likely be a lot more mundane...

It made me wonder if that was a reference to the time-traveling cardboard box in the garage in Primer. [imdb.com]
