    One of our users registered "CowboyNeal" thinking it wouldn't work, but it did. He sheepishly PM'd and turned the account over to me. (An entirely hilarious conversation, BTW.)

    CowboyNeal is still around (Google for his info) and I tried to contact him but the E-mail bounced with an "Inbox is full" message.

    If anyone can find him for real please invite him to check out the site. Lots of people here would like to hear from him. Maybe we could do an "Ask Soylent News" article for him or something. I would give him control of the nick in a heartbeat.
