A blog entry on their website says, 'we can offer 10,000 Euro for any tips or evidence leading to a conviction of the person responsible for this attack.'
For those unfamiliar, Wurm Online is, according to Wikipedia, a 3D MMORPG from Sweden that came out in 2006. The client 'is developed in Java and uses OpenGL.'
Presumably they're hoping someone with inside knowledge of the attack will be tempted to inform on the main culprits. Or maybe Microsoft's commendable botnet-fighting unit has a chance to claim the money?"

That incident provided proof that not all EvE players are nerds. No self-respecting nerd would be caught dead without a bootable CD that gives r/w access to the bootable Windows partition so that repairs can be made (and boot.ini ain't rocket science). It wasn't that big of a deal for anyone with an ounce of nerd cred. Huge drama, on the other hand, for the ignorant masses.
That incident also served to reinforce the idea that CCP has ZERO quality control practices in place that are worth a damn. That's another story, however, they routinely demonstrate that in hilarious ways several times a year. Every year.
