In a string of tweets posted early Saturday morning, President Trump let loose a barrage of accusations at his predecessor. He alleged that former President Obama had his "wires tapped" in Trump Tower before Election Day last year, accusing Obama of "McCarthyism" and being a "bad (or sick) guy."

Trump, who is under significant scrutiny for his administration's contacts with Russia before he took office, offered no evidence to support his claims Saturday morning. Neither the White House nor Obama's office has responded immediately to NPR's requests for comment.

  Besides any time-of-day issues, there are two obvious flaws in the usual inauguration photos. Look closely.

  The first is that the Obama photo shows a much larger area. Look at the buildings and match them up.

  The second is that the sparse area in the Trump photo is a different color than you might expect. It is white, but there wasn't any snow. For the Obama inauguration, people stood on the grass. The grass got killed and then the National Park Service spent many $millions to redo it. For the Trump inauguration, the National Park Service covered the grass with translucent white boxes. People hesitate to walk on these, so there were few people out in the middle of the lawn.

  The night in Sweden got misinterpreted. He was clearly referring to when he noticed, not when events happened. In any case, it wasn't even 48 hours before there was another riot in a Muslim-held area of Sweden. There had also been several in the weeks prior. In the last couple years the occurrence of rape has more than doubled in Sweden, and there are now dozens of grenade attacks per year.

  No it was far from clear. Especially given the context of a list of other attacks.
  That was the explanation his staff came up with after a few days of being mocked.
  But no one really knows for sure. The guy just says random shit and relies on his staff to "fix it in post" like they did on his tv show.
