Various web sites report that 14 new episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) have been made available on the Netflix streaming service. Older episodes can also be seen on Netflix. Each is 90 minutes long, and has intermissions. During the show, fictional characters—including puppets—give humourous running commentary while a B movie is shown.
A trailer advertises the new episodes; another video advertisement shows MST3K's treatment of the beginning of an episode of Netflix's Stranger Things.
According to the show's official site, the new season is permitted to be seen in "the U.S., U.K., New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, and Canada."

Of course, now the niche abandonware group is unneeded and all content will be up very fast.
What I really want to know: Is the new crew worth watching or cringeworthy? I haven't seen any of the episodes or trailers.
If it is bad, I think RiffTrax is a suitable replacement. Check out any of the RiffTrax for Miami Connection, Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny, The Guy from Harlem, The Sword and the Sorceror, Hawk the Slayer, Radical Jack, The Dark Power, R.O.T.O.R., and Alien Outlaw.

Full disclosure: I am one of the supporters of the show on Kickstarter, so my opinion may be biased.
I have watched two of the episodes so far and am pleasantly surprised. They have managed to seamlessly continue where the classic shows left off with a few improvements to boot (Gypsy!). They rely a bit too much on laser-cut props IMO, but that's no biggie. The riffs were decent, but so far no laugh-out-loud moment. The cast is great - very good voice acting, the Mads are well chosen (my only complaint is that Felicia Day is a tad too hot), and Jonah is a near perfect host. I keep wondering, however, how he eats and breathes (and other science facts).

No no... Felicia Day is just the right kind of hot (as in smoking).
Overall I am pleased with the new show. Jonah fills the shoes of Joel and Mike nicely, and the riffing is definitely up to par. The new voice actor for Tom Servo feels a bit off (I'm used to Kevin Murphy and they sound very different to me), but the new guy for Crow matches pretty well with Corbett's voice over.
I like that Hodgson is at the helm for the revival too. Thumbs up!

I'm a backer, and was very impressed with the new series. They're worth watching, IMHO. I even have a credit on episode 4.

The jokes work a little more often but it's less spontaneous. Good and bad.
Tom Servo can fly now. I don't care, but they're going to remind you every episode. :/
My biggest complaint is the PC wash it got. It's not completely sterilized, but you *know* what would have happened back in the day if a man found blood on his hand after reaching down for something. But they still implied some ladies were sluts. I just don't see the point in making racy jokes if you're terrified of offending people. With any luck it will level off.
It's not like the show was ever sexist. It worked with what it had, and in their best episode they spent half of it making fun of Big McLargeHuge or whatever his name was, for being too much of a manly man.
Anyway, that characteristic wit is still there. They've done things to it, but it's unmistakable.

Watched a few of the new episodes. It's now politically correct, as in the SJW'ers won't have anything to complain about. Definitely not like the old episodes with innuendos.

In general it's sad to see culture being flattened such that no one might ever take offense and in the process it becomes as interesting as the test picture..

And some of the comments are pretty funny, Can''t offer a comparison because its been too many decades since I saw the old ones. I thought the writing was pretty good for a knock off product.
There are still innuendo moments in the new shows, but sometimes pretty subtle, more of the "Wait, What??" type rather than the send the kids away kind. If any thing, this group had no reason to pull punches, they were funded fully in advance, and never intended to release on any broadcast channels.

Total money grab by Hodgson and Mallon. The reason Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy have been able to continue to make a living out of riffing while the rest of them have often tried and failed is because they are great comedy writers and have really good timing when riffing. They also have great chemistry when working live shows. The "Return" is just white bread and homogenized milk for the masses. I'm sure it's going to be a huge success for Netflix. Of course, just my opinion after watching 5 eps.
