Greetings Commanders, Cerebrates, and Executors,
We're proud to announce that StarCraft will be patched for the first time in over 8 years today. The patch will go live at 2:00 PM PDT.
When patching, please use the 'Run as Admin' option; it is required during your first client run to migrate saves and avoid issues from Windows system admin changes.
StarCraft will be free with this patch as well. We'll add a link here when the patch is live.

Installed space empires 4 last night. Other than the resolution fixed at 1024 768 it runs just fine on win 10. Never played starcraft, but might have to find the TA disks.

im more of a Space Empires III guy, but I bet we'd both play Space Empires V, if they'd make it.

You'll need the patch if you want to play against someone who has the new version:
[...] the new patch will include two important updates: the ability to connect to and play against owners of the upcoming remastered version, and the change to a wholly free product.
