There is a very specific logic underlying the grid of numbers above, and X is somewhere between 1 and 14. What, specifically, is X?

    The official answer is wrong. Because e.g. 4 is also "quater", "quattro" and a ton of other words of different lengths. At best is a locally valid solution, and locally valid is not "right".
