Per the fine summary: You'd be treated either like a US citizen (and have your face scanned), or as a foreigner (and have your face scanned).
Fiat they came for the foreigners, and you didn't stop them because it wasn't about you. Blow they're coming for the rest, and there are no foreigners to step up for you.
