When I was really young (5-7ish?) I had to go along to girl guide camp with my mom who was a leader. They did all kinds of things, and I remember watching one of the bugs that walks on water and thinking "how the hell does it do that?".

    Had lots of fun.

Joined Cubs and all we did all night was play murder ball. Fun the first couple weeks, shit lousy after that. Week after week after week.

    Good leadership vs. baaaaaad leadership.

Wish the girls had been in cubs: would have been more interested, lol.
Never did go to scouts after the shit cubs. Akaela, we'll play murder ball! Feck.

I've seem cubs and I've seen Brownies, having had several different children. They are different styles of organization and have different kinds of programs. My girl could have joined cubs, but chose Brownies. I think it suited her very well. I think she would not have fitted into cubs at all. Had she been a very different girl, cubs would have worked for her.

Good non-political girl groups no longer exist. Camp Fire Girls was one. We can't have that in today's polarized society.

If you want to hang with SJW lesbians and help finance abortion providers, you join Girl Scouts. Ugh.

The better alternative today is American Heritage Girls, assuming you can tolerate religion.

SJWs are religious too. Intersectionalism. They have fewer deaths under their belt, but they're pretty new.

    In UK: 1976
    In Australia: 1973

    World has not ended.
Girl Guides still exist (although they were declining in membership before Scouts took girls, so cause/effect are not easily unlinked)

There are programs for girls as part of the BSA. Venture Scouts start at age 15 and goes to 21. It is a co-ed group.

Cub Scouts and standard BSA are all male, at this time.

My biggest concern is NOT the Cub Scouts. It is the Boy Scouts. 13-15 year old boys and girls are not exactly known for making good decisions. Put them out camping in the woods... now you have to be thinking about preventing them from getting together at night. It is a gigantic mess in the making.

I predict two sets of lawsuits will happen...

    1) To get girls into the BSA
    2) After the first girl gets pregnant for why didn't BSA do something more to protect them.

The answer is for the Girl Scouts to get better leaders who do more stuff like the Boy Scouts.
