MERRY CHRISTMAS! That's right, folks, I'm ending the war on Christmas. We’re getting near that beautiful Christmas season that people don’t talk about any more. They don’t use the word Christmas because it’s politically incorrect. TO HELL WITH POLITICAL CORRECTNESS! When was the last time you saw "Merry Christmas"? You don’t see it any more. You go to department stores and they’ll say 'Happy New Year,' or they’ll say other things and it’ll be red, they’ll have it painted. You go to the stores and they have the red walls, and they have the snow, and they even have the sleigh and the whole thing. But they don’t say "Merry Christmas." They don't have Merry Christmas. Well, guess what? We’re saying "Merry Christmas" again. Our religious liberty is enshrined in the very first amendment in the Bill of Rights. The American founders invoked our Creator four times in the Declaration of Independence. Benjamin Franklin reminded his colleague at the Constitutional Convention to begin by bowing their heads in prayer. I remind you that we’re going to start saying "Merry Christmas" again. You’ll be saying "Merry Christmas" again when you go shopping. Believe me. "Merry Christmas." They’ve been downplaying that little, beautiful phrase. I want them to say "Merry Christmas," everybody. Happy New Year, Happy Holidays, OK, but I want EVERY Christmas. Every, every, every Christmas. We will say it again, believe me. Can we get those nice red-and-green Starbucks cups back? I know its a longshot but those were so comfortable and made me feel so nice and warm in the brutal 60 degree cold of San Diego winter.
I know that the owner of Starbucks is a Jew, and you could reason with him. I'd be willing to pay an extra ten cents a cup for those comfy old coffee cups. A little deal with the devil goes a long way.

@ScottBaio is a fabulous guy, a very big star, and a great supporter of mine. Which is why I invited him to speak in Cleveland. I hate to say it, but Operation #TrumpCup did not go well. Because there are a lot, a lot of #TrumpEnemies at Starbucks. On both sides of the counter. On both sides. And Howard Schultz is one of them. He put out a very negative message when I won the election, he actually said Crooked Hillary should have won. He put out a negative message about my tax reform, a message against cutting the corporate tax. He put out another negative message about my Muslim ban. Lots of messages against me and against my policies. And a few years back when they had the very foolish policy against firearms, against my Second Amendment folks, he was in charge. And he's still around. He's not CEO but he's around. So to make a deal about the cups, I'd have to deal with this foolish man. Very hard to deal with. And he might just turn around and put out radical Islamic coffee cups. I'm a great negotiator, one of the best. But I don't do miracles. So I think we have to leave Starbucks the way it is. Have you tried McCafé? Try McCafé. They have the latte, they have the frappé, they have the espresso, and regular. All the coffees. And they have the McFlurry. To be perfectly honest with you, if you're fat, don't order the McFlurry. You come in with a MAGA cap, they won't spit in your drink. And you won't see President Obama there. You might see me. The cups are not great, not great. Last year they had a butt. For some reason, the cups had a butt on them. And they didn't put "Merry Christmas", they put "Warmest Greetings." Right on that butt. The cups are terrible. The coffee is pretty good. And the McFlurry, I'm telling you, don't do it if you're fat.
