I don't really count JJverse as real Trek. I gave the first movie a chance but there's so little of Roddenberry's vision left in it and it's obvious they'll do anything they can to broaden the appeal as much as possible. It's the fans that will keep the spirit of Trek alive. It's a shame CBS have stopped Axanar being a full length movie. It was going to be awesome.
